And by “that dress”, I am referring to that clothing item almost every girl has… a dress (or jeans, shirt, shoes) that you feel comfortable in and want to wear all of the time. For me, this striped shift dress from Shop A Cut Above is “that dress”. I love the shift shape, I always feel covered and the length (not belted) is really nice & much longer than most shift dresses (it hits mid-knee). The sleeves are ¾ length, which gives me the okay to wear this baby year round! I paired this with black pumps & my favorite tassel necklace for church yesterday morning and I plan on pairing it with my brown riding boots & a scarf when fall actually gets here. Not to mention, at the $48 price point, I think I will get my monies worth in just a few short weeks at the rate I am wearing this!
On another note, while in Northwest Arkansas last week, I had the privilege of meeting the owner of Southern Vintage in Bentonville. She walked me around the store and told me the history with several of the stunning pieces of jewelry inside of her boutique. The necklace I came home with is Goldette Vintage which was made in NYC over 40 years ago! This piece caught my eye because of the locket, the topaz glass pendent, and the beautiful golden chains. If you or someone you know ever gets the opportunity to visit this boutique, it is a must see! I love jewelry with a history.
I hope everyone had an excellent weekend! I spent mine with John - catching up on our shows! If you haven't already entered - don't forget to enter to win the Renegade Cluster Bracelet!
