New York City…

{early morning flight}
 {shopping in SoHo}
{brunching in Hell’s Kitchen}
{my view in the mornings…}
{Laduree}
{reward style party}

{rooftop of the Empire Hotel}
{Jade & me}
 {Vivienne Tam show – more tweed for the spring!}
{Kind of cool shot that a photographer outside of the Lincoln Center snapped – if you zoom you can see the city in my sunglasses!}
So this is my first time in New York City… I totally get the hype and craze over the city. All of the shopping, the infrastructure, the people, fashion, food, etc. – it’s wonderful! Truthfully, I have not been too overwhelmed because I had always heard Paris & NYC a very similar. Most of you may know that I come from a town of 8,000 people in Arkansas. We had one decent restaurant and pretty much no shopping so coming to NY is kind of culture shock! I feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to come to Fashion Week & am beyond grateful to be able to experience this!
The weather this week has been incredible. It has been very chilly in the mornings and evenings and during the day it’s kind of warm. I love cooler weather so I have no complaints! It’s been a very busy trip thus far. I flew in Thursday morning and had 2 events that evening. I am kind of sad because I’ve not done a good job taking photographs of the trip. I feel like I am constantly looking around and taking it all in. Hopefully I will get more photos the rest of the trip!
Hope everyone has a wonderful week! Thank you for stopping by! If you want to follow along with my NYFW week – stop by my Facebook page for live updates!

  1. I am living vicariously through your Instagram photos… looks like so much fun! NYC is a great place and I agree, usually when I'm there I am taking in the sights, sounds, people, etc. Much better to take those things in than worry about getting a bunch of photos in my opinion!
