For me, Chic Is a Pop of Color - read more about that here

Pops of color make outfits memorable. Not only that, but for me, I use pops of color to make the most bland outfits more fun & unique. I wore this outfit on Thursday to a basketball game - the simple denim on denim look isn't exactly eye catching but I used the coral heels to add some flare & create a more seamless look.

This morning I am packing up and leaving for Virginia. Three days was not nearly long enough to be home but I am really missing John! The weekend was so much fun though. I had the best time with at the Indigo event on Friday night & loved meeting some readers. And the NWA Fashion Show was a crazy, but exciting blast! I had no idea what it took to put events like that on but it was so amazing. Lisa, the owner of Elysian outdid herself - her vision was spot-on and her looks were so unconventional & chic.

  7. I am loving the jean shirt (or chambray?) trend this upcoming spring. Granted it is still too cold here to go outside without a jacket but I don't have to wear multiple layers like a snowman anymore. Your outfit today inspires me to perhaps try this trend myself! <3
