I know I said it once before but these wedges are SO wonderful! I’ve been wearing them with everything (when it isn’t snowing). I really, really love them – comfort wise they are a win but I love the strappy look as well. It’s hard to find a solid wedge that is comfortable & cute for under $100 so I highly recommend these.
As for my Barrington Bag (seen on my IG last Friday) this tote is everything – no kidding. Use it as a handbag, a beach bag, a laptop bag, diaper bag, school bag, etc. I use it a lot for toting around my laptop and planner. Also, with graduation coming up – these would make an excellent gift! You can choose from an array of colors & designs- and of course, monogram it.
SIDENOTE: If you haven’t entered to win the Monogram Necklace OR Ditto’s Jeans – don’t forget.
AND, in case I confused anyone on Instagram – John did match yesterday! He was in a surgery from noon- 3:30 & the match e-mail went out at noon so I tried to keep it semi-underwraps (didn’t work too well). We find out on Friday WHERE we matched. I’ve had so many people ask what ‘match’ means so here’s my way of explaining it… if you have followed for long enough you’ll remember that we went on several weekend trips to different cities, Dallas, Birmingham, Tulsa, St. Louis, etc. Well those were residency interviews. In January John decided he would be doing the MD Match & narrowed down his top 4 picks and turned them in – all 4th year medical students were doing the same thing. March 17 – 21 is called ‘Match Week’ – all 4th years are finding out if the places they interviewed want them. So yesterday at noon they all found out IF they matched… but on Friday most medical schools will have some type of party or event for the students because that’s when they find out where. It’s a pretty big deal to us because we have never lived somewhere longer than 11 months so this means A. John will be employed (hallelujah!) & B. We will be in the same place for 3 years… no more suitcase!

This look is very relaxed, yet chic. I love the pastel colored tunic paired with the lighter wash skinnies and platform sandals. Spring definitely needs to head to Indiana soon. π

After your explanation about the "match" I understand it so much better. I am so happy for you!! The thought of being able to live somewhere for 3 years must be very exciting right now!! π

I found your blog via Kelly's Korner and love seeing the way you style different outfits. This post about match week though brings back such exciting memories!! My husband matched 10 years ago in ophthalmology at the University of Missouri. Not many people truly understand the long road it takes to be a physician (and thus a physician's wife if you have the pleasure of being part of this process from the beginning of their training). I wish you all the best on your new move and your husband's career…God bless!!
Weather looks so gorgeous and your smile and beautiful hair definitely compliment each other so well π hope for a smooth transition for husband's next move and a new chapter in your lives π
I'm obsessed with these wedges!! I actually just featured them on my "shoes wish-list" for Spring after seeing them on your blog!

Gotta love a good wedge – a great alternative to heels because they're more stable. Love the ones you're wearing!
