Dressed for Fall..

Over the weekend we got some seriously cold weather – the temps weren’t that low but the windchill made it more intense. John & I went to the Razorback game with my parents & we all wore layers on layers but we were still freezing. I was so cold I couldn’t text – kind of a serious thing! haha. jk. (but really.) My dad and I made several trips to the coffee stand which I only wanted so it would de-thaw my hands. Okay so I’m rambling about the weather but I’m already stocking up on warm outerwear for fall/winter. This Vince Camuto dress caught my eye because it is long sleeved & the print is very busy (aka it does a great job flattering.) You can see more Vince Camuto dresses on Nordstrom right now – I love that Nordstrom does price matching now. This dress is on sale on another site so Nordstrom reduced the price temporarily. I do a lot of shopping at Nordstrom because I love the free shipping & I also love that I can buy two of a size & send one back & the return be of no charge. 

Oh and how about that little Fitzy!! He was loving life running around in all the leaves while we took these. I kind of think he likes to be photographed because he was in a TON of photos that I didn’t put on here. It was real casual too… almost like he was posing behind me. Oh, & one more ‘fun’ fact about this pup… he is OBSESSED with used makeup brushes. It’s an issue! I tried to give him a clean one that I don’t use and he wanted nothing to do with it.:) (you can also see that he loves my hair – it is constantly messy bc he likes to paw at it & chew…!)

  3. Love this dress! Defiantly flattering, even though you look amazing! Fitz is too cute! FYI – don't let him chew too much of your stuff…..I let my boy do that and he found his way to my favorite boots and heels one day while I was out. 🙁 Bitter Apple is not harmful and will curb him on something like cords, or shoes and won't damage the item.

There's a trick to doing bitter apple correctly though, it sounds horrible how I'm about to explain it but trust me it will save you thousands if your pup is already into chewing and if he is ignoring the smell of bitter apple! What you have to do is soak a cotton ball in bitter apple and then put it in their mouth and hold their mouth closed for 10-15 seconds. Because it's so bitter, anything that even smells remotely like bitter apple they will never touch! We did this once with our pup after he had chewed up $150 pair of shoes and a very expensive watch band.. and he's never chewed anything again. I know it sounds horrible, trust me I didn't like it, but if they are ignoring the bitter apple smell, it's the best way to get them to acknowledge it so they won't chew anything.
