DRESS: Taylor (size down) | HEELS: Gucci (love these pink ones, too (on sale)!) | BAG: Prada (similar style & love this, too!) | EARRINGS: Bauble Bar | WATCH: Michael Kors | BRACELET: David Yurman | RING: David Yurman | SUNGLASSES: Prada (obsessed with these - only $24!) | LIPS: Viva Glam 1
This Taylor dress caught my eye not only because of the print, but because of the material. When it comes to more fitted dress I prefer scuba material because it is much more flattering. My body is not in proportion at all so I have a hard time finding dresses that fit properly while also flattering. Nordstrom currently has soo many great fall dresses... something that can often be hard to find (I look for longer hemlines, thicker fabric, sleeves, etc.) You can see all of the Taylor dress selection here.
John & I don't really like going anywhere without Fitz, it is like he's our child or something! We both really want kids (we love children- John almost went into pediatrics actually!) but we always thought we would wait until after his first year of residency. 'They' say intern year is the toughest so we thought it would be best to finish that year & then think about children. Until then, Mr. Fitz is our child! John wanted him to come take photos so he could run around and play and he ended up just chasing my feet. I didn't really know if I wanted him in my blog pictures but it wouldn't be a true image of what was going on if he weren't! I won't lie - I haven't been fixing my hair (notice it's straight!) because I would much rather be playing with him than fixing it. Don't be surprised if you start seeing top knots & straight hair more often!
