Colleen Rothschild

You all know I am constantly trying out skincare / makeup products! I was so excited to get the opportunity to try out some of Colleen Rothschild’s skin care line – it is really incredible. I start off by using the Radiant Cleansing Balm which is great for removing make-up! To be honest, the first time I used it, I didn’t know if it would be powerful enough to remove my long-wear foundation but it works! Once you scoop it out onto your hands, it more or less melts. It has a super oily texture once it hits your hands because it gets warm. I rub my hands together and then rub the product all over my face – and it literally dissolves and breaks up all of the makeup. The Radiant Cleansing Balm comes with a muslin cloth so I just run it under warm water & wring it out before I put it on my face. My makeup just melts off onto the cloth which was is rather impressive. I don’t feel the to scrub my skin which is part of the reason why I love this technique. Next, I used the Clarifying Detox Mask which is made of charcoal which acts as a ‘magnet’ to draw out impurities. It also has glycolic acid & Vitamin C – two ingredients that I already love independently. I usually leave the mask on for about 10 minutes (while playing with Fitz & sending not-so-attractive Snapchats selfies) and then rinse it off. Finally, I use one of 2 products, either the Sheer Renewal Cream or the Face Oil. This particular day I was using the Face Oil because I’d been traveling and my skin tends to get dried out while traveling. I do have super oily skin by nature, but this oil does not cause my skin to be more oily – if anything, it helps to even out my oiliness.

This skincare routine has been great for me because A. it keeps my skin super clean & fresh & B. it doesn’t cause any breakouts. I highly recommend trying out Colleen Rothschild’s skincare products – the next one on my list to try is her eye cream.

  1. Interesting post, I have heard of Colleen Rothschild but never tried it. I do love a good mask though so that is what I would be most interested in trying 🙂
