How to Wear a Poncho NOW..

PONCHO: BP ($38) | TEE: Madewell (wearing sz S) | DENIM: AG | BOOTIES: BP (under $100) | BAG: Chanel (similar here) | SUNGLASSES: Ray-Ban | WATCH: Michele | RING: David Yurman | LIPS: ‘Annabella‘

This one is for all of my cold natured sisters out there! Last night, John and I took Fitz on our nightly walk and I go “oh my gosh, it is freezing!” to which John is like “yea, it is cool – but it is 75 degrees…”. Okay, so I don’t like to be too hot or too cold?! In fact, it is a known thing that I use the seat warmer in the car at night after we’ve left a restaurant bc as I’ve said before – I freeze in restaurants (and I am not a big cooker so…) :/ Anyway, I have learned to always carry a denim jacket, light cardy – OR a fall fave: poncho!

So if you’ve got any plans in the next month or so that involve being outdoors after the sun goes down (i.e. football game, party, etc.) – carrying along a poncho (or oversized scarf) is always a win. It’s also something I do when I travel, also. The booties I am wearing are crazy comfy – they are the perfect transitional shoe because of the peep toe.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  1. This poncho is so pretty, I love that it's black & white! I am the person who is either freezing or boiling, rarely is there a happy midpoint so I also make sure to have a cardigan or jacket in the evening. Here in Austria it's been getting pretty chilly in the mornings and evenings, yet hot during the day.
