I've been so excited about this post! I think I will break it up into two parts that way the products are not too overwhelming. If you follow me on Snapchat you know I go to Sephora weekly to shop around and try out new products. I went in about a week and a half ago and picked some some things that were on my wish list! I have 8 new(ish) products that I am excited to recommend! Of the products I picked up, there were 2 products I returned because they did not work for my skin type. So the following 8 were a few that I loved and have been using.
This product was kind of an impulse buy... you all know I'm battling dark under eyes now that I've finished accutane. This product feels SO good - it feels cold on your skin. It has caffeine in it to minimize the bags under your eyes, too. Outside of the cooling effect, I love the bright look it gives my under eye area. Personally I love a bright under eye area and this definitely makes a difference.
There are a couple of huge YouTubers who use this primer over and over so I broke down and gave it a try! It ended up being a product I loved and am keeping. I'm SO picky about primers but this one I loved! I tried two others that were for oily skin and large pores and I did not like those - they were almost TOO mattifying. This one was the perfect formula and made me skin look more smooth overall.
Oh boy. I'm that girl that has a teasing comb in every handbag. Seriously - if you come to my house, you'll find a teasing comb in each room! I use them to brush my hair and to tease my hair. However, I got this one because it is SO good for really backcombing hair. If you are looking for a brush that will amp up the volume on the top of your head -this one is so good!
If you've followed me for long at all - you know I love all things Alterna. I just purchased a second bottle of this heat spray because I ran out. My curling wand gets crazy hot and this one is super good for protecting hair from high degrees of heat. I also believe it helps hold my curls in longer.
Oh how I wish her products weren't quite so expensive! I love everything by Tata Harper - everything comes from her farm. It's a fairly pricy line of skincare but it's worth it. I tried a travel kit of everything a few months back and I quickly found out that this mask is worth it. It brightens your skin and I am ALL about that.
I typically go for full coverage makeup - but this one I've grown to love because it does provide a good amount of coverage and also is light weight. It's very skin-like so it doesn't look cakey at all! I think this one is good for more natural make-up days. The coverage is build able which is awesome - and I just like that it looks super natural yet still hides some of my dark spots!
I actually just got this a few nights ago so I didn't get to photograph it - but it has the cleanest, freshest smell. And the packing is gorgeous. The scent is nothing crazy, but mainly just a clean scent.
I've been traveling with this for a few months now. It smells kind of mint-like and makes your face tingle! When I'm traveling or extra tired, I spray this on after I moisturize and it is so refreshing. It more or less awakens your face. You can also use this after you've finished your makeup to set it - or make your skin look less powdery.
Okay! Hope you enjoyed this type of post - let me know if you did! I will do more for sure. OR, if you have a product you'd like to see reviewed - leave a comment below!! <3
