Where We Stayed / What We Did in Seaside & Rosemary Beach

Now that I’m back from Florida, I thought I’d share a few photos from the trip! John and I stayed with my friend Elle’s family at their gorgeous beach home. Elle’s mom, Robin, designed every part of this house and it it is absolutely to-die-for! When I was in graduate school (ab 6 years ago), Robin & Elle came to visit and Robin was in the process of selecting everything for this house – the countertops, light fixtures, floors, backsplaces, etc. At the time I thought ‘wow, this seems really complicated/confusing!’ and now that I have a home of my own, I have even more appreciation for Robin’s hard work. It’s crazy how creative some people are – and I am grateful Robin didn’t mind me copying her kitchen! 🙂

Anyway, a lot of you asked for recommendation so I thought I’d share where we ate & what all we did while we were in the Rosemary/Seaside area so this is just a post dedicated to that trip! I was working while I was there so I wasn’t able to do as much (didn’t even get to the water!), but I’ll share a details on the places we went below!
Lol, I literally rolled out of bed and we took these photo so don’t mind my hair! It’s a tradition to have Elle’s dads waffles anytime everyone’s together.

My sweatshirt is c/o Wildfox – I always sleep in these. I get a medium so they are oversized.
My pajama pants are from the #Nsale, HERE – $31.

One day, I’m totally going to copy this, too – Elle’s mom always puts a pot filler about Keurig.. bc priorities, lol. #coffeeislife

We always go to Seaside, Rosemary, or Watercolor for dinner / lunch when we are in town. Friday night we went to The Wild Olive for dinner & then to The Pearl’s (poplar restaurant / hotel) rooftop to hang out! If you are in the are you have to go to The Pearl – its beautiful & that area is super family friendly.

My romper is HERE.
My shoes are HERE.

It was so fun getting to meet Mallory Ervin & Alex Garza! They were at The Pearl’s rooftop, too and our friend Joelle saw them and was like “oh my goodness, there are two you-tubers that I love sitting back there!” Ironically, I was already (internet) friends w/them so we all got to meet up and visit for a while. Alex & Mallory both have amazing You-Tube channels, you all have to check them out.
Morning bike ride to grab flowers..

We took the tandem bike out for a spin – my first time ever on one and honestly I was scared the whole time. I thought I was going to tip us over.

Our last day we spent in Seaside shopping & eating at The Great Southern (holy cow the grits ya ya is GOOD!). And I totally wore this outfit again, oops.  I have this top in 2 colors & love it bc of the length!

  1. I love your blog!! So a couple months ago you did a Snapchat tutorial on how to do your messy bun (as seen in the waffle pics). Would you mind doing another one?! Thanks!!

  2. The villa on the first picture is amazing! And the tandem bike.. that must have been fun!

Check out my new outfit post featuring a treasure found on secondhand fair (link) or discover where to shop for vintage clothes in Bratislava (link).

  3. I can't seem to find those Jeffery Campbell wedges in the dark brown that you have in these photos 🙁 I can only find the ones you linked and the ones on the actual Jeffery Campbell site and those are both a light tan color. I have an olive skin tone myself and would love the darker ones you have! Thank you for all your style tips btw!!
