Oh my stars – we loved our time in Carmel SO much. The weather was incredible – it was very fall-like & crisp. We all put on vests/jackets in the AM and PM and most nights I opted for a sweater or cardigan to go to dinner. One evening, we went out to cruise Pebble Beach and Spanish Bay [17 mi. drive] and just take in all of the scenery. Luke took 2 naps per day while we were there so he ended up napping while we drove around so we stopped and got coffee and just took our time driving around and soaking in the beautiful scenery. It was like being on a movie set it was so incredible. We actually did this two evenings in a row because it was so nice! There were a few different stops on the 17 mile drive that we pulled over for just to stop and really soak it all in and this spot was one of them. There were many tourists there but it was not too crowded – mainly just people taking photos and leaving. [Even a girl in a wedding gown/veil having her husband? take photos of her – not for sure, lol! But it was cute whatever they were up to!] We grabbed the camera out of the backseat and ended up snapping a few photos while we were there.

I mentioned the other day that this was my first time visiting the area and I am just totally in love with it! There’s something so special about being in a beachy, gorgeous location with chilly weather – ya know?! The smell and feel and views were just over the top! I absolutely live for fall weather so I just could’t help but adore it all. The mountain + water combination is so dreamy! We rented a SUV and did a lot of driving through the Big Sur area as well and I found it to be so relaxing just cruising – taking it all in!

As for my outfit, I made sure to link all details above ^^. I got a size small in the sweater! As for the jeans, they were a random boutique find and I’ve tried to find the exact pair online and didn’t have any luck. When I got mine – they were the very last pair and I was a little nervous I wouldn’t be able to fit in them but they gave a little. I linked two similar pair in the details above because both pair are very affordable and also extremely flattering. I find that some jeans at lower price points are not nearly as flattering but I own pairs from both brands [darker washes] and I highly recommend them.

Any who! 🙂 We are home w/Fitzy boy now – I always wish we could plan a trip to a beach w/him because I’d like to see how he’d handle that. I would think he’d like it?!?! Anyone have a golden doodle that likes the beach?!
