Oh my goodness, we are here in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and we absolutely LOVE it here!! It is the first time for all of us and it is so beautiful and the weather is soooo perfect! We went over to the Four Seasons to have lunch at The Handlebar and we snapped these photos out there after lunch. The views from where we had lunch outside were picture perfect – literally looked like a photo in a book! The weather has been in the 40s at night and 60s during the day but the sun has not been around as much as we expected so it feels much cooler than 60. The fire pits are on and burning everywhere which is nice though – we sat outside next to them during lunch!
In other news, I packed in under 30 minutes for this trip and I totally forgot a black bag and shoes! Ahh! It is so wild packing for a one year old – I mean! We have to have suitcase just for him because he tends to go through outfits like crazy. Anyway, I actually placed an order for black booties from Nordstrom and they are supposed to arrive today, fingers crossed. Nordstrom is always my go-to retailer for our family in general because that is where I get a lot of Luke’s things, my beauty products, and also just clothing! My entire outfit above is from Nordstrom – the sweater being my favorite! It fits like a tunic but it is so soft and super comfortable- I think I am going to order a second color in it because it is one of those sweaters I know I’d wear ALL of the time! I currently have the black version in my shopping cart online. As for these pants – oh-em-gee! They are like magic! I have been so busy the past 2 months and have not worked out much at all and I can totally feel it/see it. I bought these pants because they make you look 10lbs lighter and they are also very comfortable so it feels like leggings! They are very long so plan on pairing them with some chunky heels!

I actually live in the foothills of NC so we’re just kind of waiting for what part of the storm to hit us that’s coming this way…this waiting game sucks because there’s not much you can do because you don’t know where it’s coming or when it’s coming or how bad it will be when it reaches us. I never thought we’d be preparing for a Hurricane – we actually had one come through before I was born (it came through about 28 years ago – I’m 23) so this is new for me still. So long story short after update on weather here – my plans this weekend is watch movies and football until we lose power (hopefully that won’t happen though).
I’m dreaming of cooler temperatures! It’s been raining in texas the past few weeks and the temps had cooled off a little, but it’s so humid! Ready to wear jeans and sweaters!
