A Sporty, Chic Look From Wal-Mart

OUTFIT DETAILS

THERMAL TOP: Faded Glory via Wal-Mart [also love this lace-up thermal!] | DENIM: Seven via Wal-Mart | BASECAP CAP: Wal-Mart [similiar satin option HERE & velvet option HERE] | SHOES: Steven Madden [love these!] | GOLD HOOPS: old [similar HERE]

Over the past 8 months or so, I have been trying to incorporate a budget friendly look into my editorial calendar more often – at least 1-2x per season. Back in the spring I did a couple of them and got some really good feedback so voila – I’m back with another! Today’s post is a Wal-Mart post which for those in my part of the country can be very obtainable as we have many Wal-Mart storefronts around us. You all may not be aware but I am from Arkansas- and the NW corner of Arkansas is where Wal-Mart corporate is and where Wal-Mart got its start. My sister lives near by all of this so it is fun to go to Wal-Mart with her because they seem to have an even wider, more amazing selection! Luckily, these days everything is online – Wal-Mart actually has more available on their site.

Anyway, Wal-Mart has an ‘IT LIST’ section now & it has a truly incredible – and fashionable selection. I was a little shocked because their is a WIDE variety of brands & styles in this section of the site. It’s broken up into trends like ‘Mad For Plaid’, ‘Denim Revival’, etc. All of the trends have an entire section dedicated to them & it is so well done. One of my favorite trends for fall, which you have probably noticed, is the sporty-chic look. I paired these Seven jeans with the racing stripe & a thermal henley [$7.96] together to get a sporty, yet put-together combo. Additionally, I had grabbed this cap with the faux leather bill in my local store and I don’t see it online but I did link a similar velvet and satin option above. OH! And speaking of the sporty trend, I do love this oversized varsity sweater as well!

I’m going to add a widget with a few other cute items I saw on the ‘IT LIST’ below so make sure to check it out. And please let me know if you enjoy posts like these and would like to see more of them!

Thanks to Wal-Mart for sponsoring todays post.
