We did Sophia’s baby photos when she was about a month old and our photographer just got them back to us a couple of weeks ago – and I can see why, lol! I don’t think she had a lot to work with! The photographer came later in the day and it was the time of day where I needed to feed Sophia and Luke was winding down soooo it was wild! I just look at these and laugh because they definitely depict what life is like with a toddler and newborn. Luke was just goofing off, Fitz had to be in the middler of it all, and Sophie was hungry!

Going from 1 to 2 has been a big change – but so special at the same time. I just want to cry when I look at Luke and Sophia – I am so grateful to have them both. I feel so blessed to be their mom! And then there’s John – who is seriously the best. The change from having one baby to two was a big learning curve but John made it so much easier! He’s so patient with all of us! Yesterday we celebrated 7 years of marriage – so crazy!! Our first 5 were through medical school and residency – and we didn’t have Luke until the last couple of months of residency so we have always had a LOT going on but its been such a fun ride! We were talking about which year of marriage was ‘the best’ and we laughed because it’s hard to say! We both agreed that once John was done with medical school and we were settled down and both had incomes and no kids – that was a lot of fun… simpler times! We didn’t even know how ‘easy’ we had it.? We were both super career focused but had freedom in a way. But you add in two babies and life is much busier – but even better and sweeter! It is so fun to look back on how things have changed over the years. Anyway, I’m so thankful for this crew of mine and for these photos! I can’t believe Sophia will be 10 weeks old tomorrow!

Hope you all had a fun holiday weekend! We are back home from the Bahamas and I’m working on laundry, haha! Fun stuff!

XO.
