This is the outfit I was wearing on Instagram a couple of days ago and I had a few people ask to see the entire look so… here we are! John’s in his surgery rotation this month & it’s been pretty busy but a couple of days this week he was able to finish up early enough to get out and enjoy the sunshine with me. Just a couple more days of surgery & then we are move (to Charlotte) for his final medical school rotation.(!!) We’ve already started looking for places to live in Tulsa & I may or may not have started shopping online for home decor. Because we’ve moved pretty much non-stop since we got married, we don’t have a couch, coffee table, etc. so we are finally getting to do adult like ‘stuff’ & shop for those items. I’d love if you all would share you favorite (and affordable) places to shop for furniture & home decor. Thank you for reading..xo!

  1. Hi Emily! Love the outfit πŸ™‚ You always inspire me to want a pair of flared jeans! I haven't been able to buy home dΓ©cor just yet but I do enjoy browsing. Hautelook has such cute pieces and affordable prices. I am just not sure on the quality of the items but that's one suggestion.
Have a great day! xoxo from Miami, Jessy

  2. Classic outfit! Love it!

I'd suggest Homegoods, TJMaxx, and honest, Target has some great buys. I've bought a couple of rugs from Target that were inexpensive (compared to others) and they've held up really well. Depending on your style World Market can be a good option too!

  3. Emily!
I'm so excited for you! It's great to finally be settling down. My husband and I have been in a similar situation and we are 4 short months away from our house being completely built and ready for move-in! I have been anxiously looking for home decor already and Home Goods is one of the best places for decor! It's way cheaper than other options (Pottery Barn, William Sonoma, etc..) We have even found All Clad and Caphlon stainless steal cookware there! But for big furniture options I definitely have found Macy's Home Store to be great! It is good quality and they always have sales.

    XoXo,
