Oversized Lace…

We stayed last night with my sister & her family – my 7 year old nephew (Harry) is at the age where he’s really falling in love with sports. He plays basketball in the driveway daily when he gets home from school. Last night he challenged me to a one-on-one basketball game… not thinking anything of it I said sure and I took off my wedges (as seen in the photo) and walked outside to play him (wearing this lace top, ha!). Honestly,  I thought it would be an easy game… not my smartest move. John came out to watch and I was a little embarrassed that a 7 year old was able to ‘school’ me. In my defense, his dad is a 6-foot-6 former college basketball player so I should’ve considered his previous competition. Anyway, I am so happy to be back in Arkansas to watch his talents develop as well as my other nieces & nephews. They all have wayyyyyy more athletic skill than me (thank goodness!).

  4. Love that top paired with the lipstick! I'm still lusting for those wedges but got the MK ones for now, which are super comfy! I was wondering if you were going to do a post on the 3D mascara, I want to see some before and afters before trying it out myself.

  23. Alexandria, yes! It meant oversized – thank you for correcting me! I really was tired after my 7 yo nephew ran circles around me playing basketball… totally missed the 'S'! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
