Edgy + Girlie..

I have 3 different styles of faux leather leggings/pants now because last fall I found myself wearing them ALL the time. They are dressier than jeans & black goes with so much that I constantly gravitate towards them when putting an outfit together. Nordstrom has a TON of faux leather leggings/pants right now & I recommend grabbing a pair now because last winter they sold out rather quickly! You can always dress them down with oversized sweaters or tunics & scarves, too. 

John had yesterday off we are stayed sooooo busy but had a lot of fun spending the day together. Speaking of, I have a sort of funny story… I have been on the hunt for the Ita brush by NARS for months (best contouring brush, ever!) & it has been sold out everywhere. Y’all know I have moved & traveled a lot and I constantly looked for it in so many cities. Anyway, I noticed it was in stock on Nordstrom’s site last week so I placed an order & talked about how excited I was all weekend. Okay.. so yesterday the UPS guy drops off my package & I am like “oh John – look at it! Feel it – I can’t wait to use it!” & his response was “Emily, we could’ve just gone to Lowe’s and gotten one of these from the paint section.” :/ I honestly kind of agree haha… But really, I immediately used the brush & was in shock at how awesome it is for applying bronzer/contouring powder – highly recommend it.

  3. You are SO right about leather leggings! I ordered my first pair last year based on your blog post. I love them so much I wish I had ordered a second pair. One thing I did think was important was getting a quality pair and to me there's nothing better than Michael Kors. Love this look!
