NYFW… SS15

Thursday morning I stopped by the TRESemmé Salon to get my hair fixed for the BCBG show. I went with a sleek, clean pony tail with loose curls. I wore a leopard print dress with a faux leather jacket & I wanted a hairstyle that would not only be out of my face, but would make a statement of its own. I loved how the stylist wrapped a thick piece of hair around the ponytail to hide the ponytail holder.

What I wore to the BCBG show…
Yesterday, I stopped by TRESemmé Salon where I asked for a glamorous, soft look. I wanted to have extra volume & lots of curls. The stylist gave me some amazing, curls & then went with a deep side part. I typically don’t go for a side part but I LOVED how it turned out with my look! I was wearing a pink pleated skirt & my top made a bow in the front so I wanted my hair to be a less of a statement, but remain feminine & pretty!
On Thursday evening, I went backstage of the Marissa Webb show.. .which was unreal! It was amazing to see what really goes on back there! Models were getting their hair styled by the TRESemmé stylists & Mabelline was doing the makeup.
Myself with Marissa Webb!
The models hairstyle was like a mohawk in the middle and two french braids down the side… it was so different & unique.  Jeanie Syfu was leading the hair backstage for this amazing, edgy braided hair style.

Last night before the Monique Lhullier show, I stopped by the TRESemmé Salon where I got my hair styled… yet again! (This will be a problem when I go back home!)  I wanted something new for this dress since it’s a was a simple shift dress with ric-rac & a collar. I really wanted my hair to be the focus of the look. I asked the stylist if I could have something a little different… but with some kind of braid. He decided to go with a half milk maid braid / half bun. It was absolutely perfect with my overall look!

(Final Look.)
TRESemmé & I attending the Monique Lhullier show last night (Friday evening!) I LOVED this show sooo much! The confetti was falling just took it to a whole new level! I have been taking my phone into shows with me and it is n’t getting the best photos so I apologize that I don’t have more runway shots… if you follow on Twitter I can tweet some… they are just a little blurry!

I am so thrilled to be here in New York & to be working with TRESemmé, the official haircare sponsor of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week! Its been unreal having the talented TRESemmé team style my hair & teach me new tricks & tips. (Oh and I’m about to run out and buy THIS hair spray.. it’s amaze!) It’s so fun to be able to coordinate each of my looks with a new, fresh hairstyle.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. Each hair style is so pretty. You've now been spoiled by having your hair styled each day. What will you do when you return home? For the last 3 months I've been going to DryBar here in NYC for a blowout each Friday evening or Saturday morning. It's worth every penny. Now I can't do my own hair. Ha!

  2. So gorgeous! I need to know where I can get the pink blouse you wore to the Marisa Webb show! Please!!!! XOXO- hope you are having a ball in NYC!

  3. I have a question…like you, I have a ton of hair without using extensions or anything. And I can never get my pony tail to say "up" or anchored – it always droops from the weight. How is yours staying in place like that, did you do anything special?

  4. Ok, you look BEAUTIFUL! NYFW looks so fun, and how awesome is it that you get your hair done frequently while you're there!?! Amazing!!

Have a blast and keep posting pictures:)
    xo, Taylor
