Right now you may be wondering, “why is she carrying a tan bag with an all black outfit?”… Sadly, this is just part of the not-so-glamorous life of a 4thyear medical students wife. Many of you have inquired about where I live… I really do not have a home. Yes, we are technically ‘homeless’. John’s medical school is in Blacksburg, VA. Our belongings are in a storage unit. John lives out of an oversized Nike bag while I live out of a suitcase/my purse/my car. I do a lot of going back and forth between seeing John [in Tulsa this month] and seeing my parents. I usually throw some shoes, pants, tops, a dress for church in my suitcase and leave. That being said, when I got ready I realized all I had was my tan bag! [John said he thought the bag added a nice pop of color, lol…]
One day I will find it to be a luxury to have only one closet, one bed, one kitchen, even just our own ‘place’… until then, we will deal with the mis-matching outfits!

The hubs and I are homeless because of the same situation! We're having to ship things back to my parents to put into storage to make room in our car before we head off for our next rotations in Ohio. I can't wait to have a home again – and an actual paycheck! Love the outfit, as usual
