I will apologize in advance for how often I’ll be wearing this tunic. When I am shopping online my eyes are always drawn to keywords like “oversized” & “tunic”… & over the past two years “tartan” has been added to that list. When I saw this one on Daily Look, I had no hesitation, an oversized-tartan-tunic! What’s better? Additionally, it’s a light chiffon making it multi-seasonal… so yes, I’ll be wearing this right into spring.

In other news, John submitted his Match list yesterday. We will find out in March if/where he matches. I am so anxious – I am trying to avoid even thinking about it (rather I think of Phil 4:6). We’ve never lived anywhere longer than 11 mos. so it’s exciting to think that where ever he matches we will be for 3 years… And I will be done living out of my suitcase(!!).

*This tunic runs big – I am wearing a small. Size down.

  1. Wish him luck in the match. I had to go through the heart surgery training match with my guy and our two options (because that's much more selective than the general specialties) were New York and Texas which were completely different environments. Luckily he's in New York near his mom who he hasn't been able to visit often because of how rigorous general surgery residency is, but we have one more "match" until he's done since he wants to do pediatric heart surgery (but that's more of a straight interview process rather than a traditional match). It's a long road and very tough on them and their families so he is very lucky to have someone so supportive with him. Good luck!!

  2. Very nice look, I realy like your style, even it's a lot different than minr, but it still gives me good insperation and the outfits like stunning on you!
And I love this caro blouse, wanna get one, too!
Very good combination, fits perfect with the jeans and the shoes give the look the elegant and chic touch

  3. Aaron and I are still praying fervently about our rank order, specifically the options for if I match and he doesn't and vice versa. I'm still trying to prepare my heart for God's plan, because we're praying for his PERFECT will – which we may not understand at this time. Prayers will be sent your way from the Relics!
Also I LOVE all things tartan right now – this look is fab!

  4. I'm dying to have those blue heels but I'm a teacher so I'm on my feet a lot. I can actually get away with wearing a pair all day if they're comfortable. Do you think these are comfortable enough to go most of the day?

  5. Yikes! That sounds CRAZY. Goodluck to you both – kudos for all of your hardwork. I admire and have great respect to anyone who can make it through medical school – especially couples like you all.
