Oh my stars- finding a swimsuit after a baby is not an easy task! I’m a little over 2mos PP and I was totally dreading finding suits for our Bahamas trip. I put it off all the way until two days before we flew out. Luckily, it is so easy to find cute, high waisted swimsuits these days – and one pieces are so cute now! (insert praise hand emoji) Anywho, my favorite cover up & swimsuit combo I packed is this one! I found this cover up in Dallas – it is actually a regular top but ummm, not so sure that would be too cute on me. :/ John was like “no that is totally not a shirt!”. I just liked that it had the slits in the sleeves and down the center so it wouldn’t be so hot. The weather here is insanely hot! I thought 90 degrees in Tulsa was hot but the 90 degrees here is 15x worse. Last time we came to the Bahamas was February of 2016 so it wasn’t nearly as hot! We actually came back because out of all of our travels – we like the water here best. It is crystal clear and just unbelievable!
Luke has been a living dream so far. He was great on our flights & has been great here. He sleeps well at night – just like at home and he’s just sweet & happy. I didn’t know what to expect, traveling with a new baby, but I am happy with how it has gone thus far! (Gonna knock on wood after I publish this, btw!)
