Back AGAIN with another designer dupe! I did a post two days ago about the cutest top I wore in Scottsdale that is almost an exact replica of a $300 designer top & I had to share all the details on this look as well. So first of all, this skirt is on sale for like $34?!?! It is super flattering – which was a shock to me since it is on the affordable side. I adore it because it’s modest yet has such a playful, flouncy look, ya know?! Here are a couple of designer skirts that are very similar and also very pricy… HERE & HERE. Sidenote – if I were getting married, I’d totally be wearing this skirt for some type of event- how gorgeous!
Any who… what are your plans for this weekend?! The weather here is UNREAL! So gorgeous and sunny. Coco is coming to town today but we are actually going to drive to Arkansas tomorrow to see my brother’s basketball team play in the State Finals. I am SOOO excited – his games are my FAVORITE. Random fact but as a little girl (ages 5-10), my dad was a high school basketball coach and his teams were always incredible. They won state back to back and were in the finals a lot so I more or less grew up in the basketball gym! And also traveling for all the tournaments – those were like our ‘vacations’ and his players always took care of me like I was their little sister. I was always super girly [would go to the games and watch cheerleaders/wear clip on earrings] and they would say “well are you going to play basketball when you grow up?” and my famous words were “no!!! I do NOT like to sweat!” (at age 6). That phrase has been used against me a gazillion times since then! Anyway, I love that my brother is a high school basketball coach because we get to all keep going to games together and it is really sentimental to me. It is even more special now to go with Luke so he gets to experience a little bit of what I experienced.
