Betweenwork, studying, packing, & trying to enjoy time with John, I have slackedon blogging. This weekend we stayed pretty busy. I worked on Saturday and thenwe went to the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia to see Les Miserables.
Sundaymorning after church, we did our usual bagel run – it was sort of bittersweetknowing that that was the last time we will go to church and then walk down thestreet for lunch! Of course, I am excited to go to my church back home and thenenjoy lunch with my Mom & Dad!
Speakingof Dad, my Dad will be here in TEN DAYS.He kindly offered to fly in so that we don’t have to do all of the moving onour own and so that we will have athird person to drive the U-Haul. I think I am more excited to see him thananything. I can’t wait to show him where we live and what we do here inBristol! That being said, we move in TWELVEdays. I will be an Arkansas gal again, yes!
Anyway, Sunday we went through our crawl space storage unit and threw away/gave awayan entire SUV full of clothing. It feels great to be able to let go of so much, plus it will make moving a lot easier.
A sweatshirt covered in sequins??? Genius. From Elysian Boutique! Every gal should have this one in her closet for those chilly date nights!
Had to bust out my favorite Steve Madden Ravesh pumps for Les Mis! It was a great excuse to dress up!
Of course we documented our last trip to Manna Bagel including the walk down there! Shirt is here. Pants are here.
3+hours of straight packing – we ran to WalMart and Starbucks to get groceries and rest and let my allergies settle from all the dust we stirred up. And leave it to the medical student to pull his phone out and study while we are on break! I file these situations under the hashtag ‘#medstudentromance’ because it happens so often.
I guess I am not one to talk considering I used break time to break in my ‘13-‘14 Academic Planner. John will be in a new city each month and I felt like we should try to map out the chaos. Not sure that Type A people should marry D.O. medical students.
Enjoying a Memorial Day strictly spent with John! The best! Sunnies here.
Today it was warmer than usual so I was thrilled to bust out my Hollyhocks Boutique top. Of course I carried my Clare Vivier Leopard Foldover Clutch because I literally do not want to ever stop carrying it, like ever. The more I saw it on all of the fashion blogs, the more I added to my Poshmark closet so I could splurge!
Speaking of Poshmark, I added a few new things:
It is the best clutch ever!! I love mine and you'll get tons of use out of it!! I've been waiting for spring and summer to do more walking around town just to have more of an excuse to carry my clutches instead of my purses lol. ; )

I was just thinking the same thing about PhD wives. His program is not good for the planner and Type A personality in me. Good luck with the move!
