Happy Mother’s Day to all of the sweet Mothers…
My mom, dad, sister, & niece drove 16 hours to be with us for John’s graduation yesterday. It really meant a lot to me that they were willing to drive all that way. And today they are driving back so I hate that my Mom & Sister are spending Mother’s Day in the car & not relaxing and enjoying the holiday. However, I am hoping we can all get together & celebrate once John & I move back to Arkansas!
On another note, with our constant moving, un-packing & packing again I have had to learn a few tricks to simplifying my life!
1. Everything has to have a place… for me everything must have a place where it belongs in order to keep my sanity! I try to keep all my purse/shoes dust bags so I can travel with those and I always try to store them in the same place when we start to pack up again. I do thing with everything (jewelry, clothing, etc.) – I like everything compartmentalized! 🙂
2. To-Do List: Obviously this is common amongst people trying to get or stay organized but I have to write everything down in order to keep some control on my life… things tend to slip through the cracks easy when you are living out of a suitcase!
