Oh happy day! Guess what – today is John’s last day as a student! Praise the Lord! He gets to enter the real world… eek! I am so happy to close this chapter of our lives… peace out med school. I can remember him telling me where he got accepted into medical school like it was yesterday. We weren’t actually dating or officially dating at the time and I remember being so sad he had only applied to schools in the north. I thought for sure we would never get together… but God works in mysterious ways. Congrats, honey- really proud of you!
In other news, the giveaway yesterday turned out so much more amazing than I could’ve ever imagined. In the first four hours of the day you guys hit my goal of $1,000. Now we are at $2,000. The generosity you all have shown has blown me away. If you missed it – check it out. Some amazing businesses contributed to make it over-the-top, amazing – all to help the tornado victims.
