NYFW.. FW15

If you follow me on Instagram, then you are probably aware that I am partnering with TRESemmé, the official haircare sponsor of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week! So far, it has been so incredible, I’ve always loved TRESemmé’s Heat Tamer & the TRESemmé TRES Two Hair Spray. In fact, my friend Elizabeth is here in NY with me working on a project for school & she said “remember when we met at church camp? You know, in the bathroom, you offered to let me use your hairspray – and it was this exact same hairspray!” It made me laugh because, even at an outdoor camp we still felt the need to curl our hair & use hairspray! :/ Anyway, that was six years ago – and I still love TRESemmé TRES Two spray. 

The photos above are from Thursday’s events, I went backstage at the Marissa Webb show & got to see the TRESemmé lead stylist, Jeanie Syfu, work magic on the models’ hair. I loved that the models all got bangs! The overall look was a sleek, straight hairstyle with straight across bangs. Some texture was added by using TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Sea Salt Spray. It was very simple, but combined with Marissa Webb’s FW 2015 looks, it was perfect. The hairstyle tied the entire look together. I included a couple of my favorite looks from the show in the photos above – the red dress with the tie waist & pockets and the grey tie waist coat. 

You may have noticed that this first day I wore lots of neutral colors & wanted to keep my hairstyle simple as well. I decided to go with sleek, straight locks. This was also great because I was wearing a white floppy hat which made a statement of it’s own. The TRESemmé stylist showed me the new Runway Collection that is out in stores now and used the TRESemmé Runway Collection Get Sleek Perfect Blow Dry Balm on my hair before blowing it out. This product seriously took my straight hair to a new level by smoothing out all frizz & making it have serious shine!
