Striped Chambray for the 4th

This striped chambray top caught my eye the first time I saw it! It does run a little big, mine is a small and I wish I’d gotten the XS. But I love stripes & chambray so together it was the perfect combo. I opted for red lips since the 4th is right around the corner! A subtle red, white & blue combo if you are working on outfits for the upcoming holiday.

It’s getting pretty hot here in Tulsa.. I’m starting to think I may want to cut Fitz hair a bit. We trim him weekly but I am not a fan of short haired doodles so we work really hard at making sure his hair doesn’t get matted. However, when I was in Bermuda, he was at camp and his hair didn’t get brushed each night (hims a high maintenance little thing!) so he got some mattes and we are still working on getting them all out. I was telling John there has to be some kind of conditioner for pups that will get the tangles out, lol! He said that’s not a thing but idk, I may make it a thing. I hate the idea of having to cut his fluffy, soft hair!

  6. I Love your outfit soo much!!! Stripes and chambray… My 2 favs lol. By the way, there are some pretty good detanglers on the Jeffers pet website. I know they are good bc my mom gifted my schnauzer a bottle since she is such a cry baby when it comes to brushing and it really works like magic!!!!

  10. You should at least cut his belly down, that's how they cool off when laying on a cool floor or in a baby pool that I hope you have for him! I always think people should cut their dogs in the summer, it's like walking around with a fur coat on for them 🙁 he can grow back in the fall and winter!

  11. Poor Fitz! Where I love my Border Collie/Lab feathering I get him shaved for the summer. The first few weeks he looks like a different dog but he is so much happier. We deal with matts on his hind area bad along with behind his ears. It's tough to get them all so when he gets shaved it's like starting fresh! Good luck getting his matts out!

  24. You're in luck ! It does it exist. Paul Mitchel makes a pet line with a detangler spray – we use it on our Cavalier King Charles daily. My hair salon actually carries it – lol.
