Fitting Room Diaries | NSALE (Plus the most flattering jeans under $50!)

Last year, right before the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale was open to non-cardholders, I did a dressing room try-on with different items & it ended up being a big hit for those shopping online. (You can see the post here.)

Anyway, on Sunday when I was packing for my flight, I snapped a couple of photos of items from that sale that I highly recommend so I wanted to share those. I am also sharing some dressing room photos (from last Friday) that I snapped. (Don’t be judgy of my wild hair in those photos – we’d been in the car all day!) 

Hopefully this will help with your NSALE shopping since NONE-Cardholders can finally start shopping tomorrow a.m. I believe many of the products will be restocked so make sure you get them ASAP because as you know they sell out SO quickly! 

BLACK MOTO JACKET $64 | Wearing size SMALL, True to Size | Great fit, great quality. I’ve been on the hunt for a great faux leather moto for years now – it is so hard to find a great quality one that lays just right – THIS IS IT!

CAMO ANKLE SKINNIES BY HUDSON $130 | True to size | SUPER adorable and flattering. (better in person.)
Monogram is not Nordstrom.. but it is HERE. PS. I did order THIS bracelet from the sale and I constantly refreshing my tracking on it.
BORDEAUX MOTO JACKET $64 | Same as the black – but I love LOVE this color! The perfect fall color. Probably going to end up getting it since the price is not too bad.
BUTTON DOWN BOYFRIEND TOP $40 | Okay, the softest top, ever! Wearing size small and I am usually a 2. Def oversized. Nice & long, too!

BLACK FAUX FUR VEST $105 | Wearing the XS (0-2) | Amazing quality & fit. I didn’t see a lot of vest that hit my requirements from the Nsale but THIS ONE DOES! It’s a nice, flattering length & def does NOT look cheap!

FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS $44 | True to size (wearing small) | Super comfy – you’ll be wishing you had these in the fall! 
REBECCA MINKOFF BORDEAUX CROSSBODY BAG $197 | Oh-em-gee, the ultimate FALL must-have! Okay, so funny story, I was carrying this around the mall and women kept stopping us going “where did you find that???” one girl actually stopped me more than once trying to hunt it down! It is SOOO gorgeous!
LEOPARD PRINT FIT & FLARE DRESS $105 | True to Size | Super flattering if you get the right size. Sadly, I grabbed the wrong size when I tried this on so it doesn’t show how cute it is – but it is VERY flattering and one of those dresses yo can wear NOW w/wedges, in a couple of months with BOOTS, & dress it up w/pumps! I promise you will get your money’s worth out of this one!

LONG BELTED CAMEL COAT $135 | Okay, so if you get a size down (maybe even 2), this will be SO CUTE! I was wearing a 4 here and it was just too big. Honestly, I can’t get in this mindset yet (huge coats and all), but I know I will be glad I got it 6 mos. from now!

LEOPARD PRINT MOTO JACKET $85 | Wearing XS (0-2) | This jacket may be one of the best items in the sale! I am crazy over this jacket – seriously if you are worried about having a boring/plain wardrobe in the fall/winter months – add this on to your outfit and BAM! It’s going to make it so so so cute!
SWING DRESS $38 | Wearing size small | This dress is COMFY/so CUTE! It comes in a pink color too! It’s just a nice basic to throw on or pair with something else!
PAJAMA SET $31 | Elle’s is here. | We are both wearing mediums – the shorts run a bit small but we liked them baggy.. who likes tight pjs?? We started a tradition about 6 years ago wearing matching pjs when we stayed together during Christmas time.. so now we always do it! These are perfect for sisters / BFFS / etc.

  3. I'm so glad you posted this! I actually ended up ordering the leopard dress. I originally thought it would be too short for work, and I don't have time to go to the mall right now to try it on. I'm so glad I could see it on you. Haha thanks for being my fit model!

  20. These are some great choices, and fabulous prices! My favourites are that leather jacket, camel coat, white tunic and Rebecca Minkoff bag! And those pyjamas are the best, totally suit you 🙂 Love seeing all your snaps, looks like the best time!
