How To: Amp Up The Basics in Your Closet..

TOP: Lush ($42, six other colors available) | DENIM: Hudson (similar here & here) | HEELS: Topshop c/o (similar style here & here) | SUNGLASSES: Ray-Ban | WATCH: Michael Kors | BAG: Valentino (similar here & here) | EARRINGS: Gorjana | RING: Baublebar c/o, David Yurman | BRACELETS: Charm & Chain, Hermes, Kate Spade, SoCal Gems

Over the years, I’ve found that the top three items I wear enough to get my money’s worth are: handbags, shoes, & basics. For that reason, I don’t mind spending a little extra on those things. However, I will say that this tunic is $42 (not too pricy) – and I own it in 3 colors and I can’t tell you how much wear I get out of it. You all have seen me wear it quite a bit (styled differently) so I wanted to share this particular post to inspire different ways to amp up the basics in your closet.

If you are looking for ways to re-invent your wardrobe basics, start by stepping outside of your comfort zone w/your handbag or shoes. Also, statement jewelry can be a game changer, too! As I was looking for a similar, more affordable handbag – I found THIS one (only $54) and may or may not have ordered it. The blush pink color is a fave of mine for fall!

I’m linking some fun heels, handbag, & jewelry below..

  1. First off, your hair looks amazing!! Moving on…Lush makes so many great tops and whenever we get them where I work, they sell out fast. Love the camo and pink combination, and that bag is gorgeous. I hope that you had a nice weekend and that your week is off to a good start too!! πŸ™‚

  2. I love basics in neutrals paired with blush. Those trousers look so cool, yet I wouldn't necessarily think to buy them. Love the pattern they add. Your hair looks gorgeous straight! πŸ™‚
