During the fall and winter, my wardrobe tends to dull down because I love olive green, taupe, camel, etc. but I always make an effort to keep my eyes out for bright sweaters & things to wear! When I laid eyes on this sweater (my eyes were like the heart eye emoji!), I was scared to even see the price tag as it is cashmere. I actually passed on it – and then I told John and he knows how much I love pink so he said to get it as my birthday present! Speaking of – I don’t think I mentioned this on my blog yet, but John always gets me the most interesting gifts… First of all, gifts are not my love language at all – out of the 5 love languages, it is probably the last one for me which is great for John. Anyway, a few days before my birthday I got an Amazon e-mail about a blanket ‘I’ had ordered — I was like “hmm… what did I order on Amazon?” so I opened it & it is an leopard print electric blanket! (this one actually.) I knew immediately it was my birthday present and honestly all I could do was laugh! When he gave it to me, it hit me that it was a pretty smart gift! I will use it daily for the next 6 months (I am always cold) & practical gifts are the best ones! Plus, its leopard print so it isn’t an eyesore! 🙂
