Cape & Hot Coffee | London Outfit

TOP: Halogen (fall/winter staple) | CAPE: Topshop | DENIM: AG (currently on sale!) | BOOTIES: Vince Camuto | BAG: Chanel (similar HERE!) | EARRINGS: Nasty Gal | BRACELET: BaubleBar | WATCH: Michael Kors | LIPS: “Whirl” + “Snob

You’ll probably notice that my hair looks crazy in these photos – the was wind intense here in London. I’m not even sure how I got any photos without my hair stuck in my lipstick, lol! Anyway, aside from that I really love this weather here, its perfect cape weather. You all know I love a good cape or poncho – I prefer them over jackets since they are lighter & lose! While in London & France, I saw so many women wearing capes & they all look so chic & put together, even though it is so easy to throw one on over your basic pieces!
As many of you know, Caitlin and I were in Paris on Friday & we did make it back to London that evening. Neither of us had phone service there unless we were at our flat w/wifi so on Friday night we went out for dinner and we stopped in a shop on the way to dinner & my phone automatically connected to their wifi & that’s when I started seeing my Instagram notifications & getting texts from friends & family asking if we were still in Paris & if we were okay. The attacks in Paris make me sick at my stomach & hit a little closer to home since we had just been there a few hours before it happened. I feel so awful for the people involved in the attacks & their loved ones, it is heartbreaking. I’m constantly praying for the beautiful city of Paris.

Also, I was really touched by all of the comments on Instagram asking if we made it out okay – that was so sweet. <3

  1. What happen in Paris is horrible but it´s just as horrible the attack that happen in Beruit that nobody is talking about. I understand that for you it must have been really crazy because you where just there in Paris so don´t take the things I´m writing the wrong way. I just think that instead of people changing their profile picture to the France flag maybe they should change it to a symbol of the world because things like this happens everywhere. But as I wrote I understand that you must have been affected just they way I was when the school here in my home town Trollhättan, Sweden. Was attacked and two young boys died because of a hate crime. I´m so happy that you are okay 🙂

  2. Love! I have those exact same AG jeans too, love them. 🙂 Paris is such a beautiful and magical city and it makes me sad that someone would want to do something so horrible. So glad that you ladies make it back to London safely though and I hope that you enjoy the rest of your trip!

  3. So glad that you all are safe and made it back to London. Its such a tragedy what happened and my heart goes out to all the families who lost their friends and loved ones. Love the cape!
