Oh my! I love this swing dress so much. The weather in Palm Springs has been in the 90s so it’s pretty hot combined with the sunshine. This dress is a swing dress so it feels so good on – and the material is lightweight. (AND, it has pockets!!) ALSO! These shoes – you all have to get them – they are technically a look-a-like for a pair that is almost $800! These are under $130 and are comfortable too! I wore them for an event the other night when I was on my feet the whole time!

We’ve absolutely LOVED Palm Springs. Between the mountains, dessert, palm trees, sunshine – it a dreamiest place. I will say one downside I am not used to about the trip from LAX – Palm Springs… the traffic. Holy cow. I always knew LA traffic was bad but we landed in LAX and the Google map said it would take 2 hours and it honestly took closer to 4-5!! We left LA at 3pm and didn’t get there until 8ish. It made me laugh bc sometimes I complain about Tulsa’s traffic but it clearly is nothing in comparison. I’m guessing people who live there just account for traffic when they go somewhere?!

  1. LOVE that dress and those shoes!!! I would wear that dress all of the time during the summer. My sister lives 3 hours north of L.A. and my husband and I have driven from LAX to where she lives a few times. While it is a beautiful drive, yes the traffic can be horrible. I'm glad that you have been enjoying your trip though!! πŸ™‚
