Oh boy! This isn’t a typical post for me seeing as it’s been years since I’ve dressed up for prom! But, SAKS is wrapping up the end of a really amazing sale tonight (midnight). ALL of SAKS Prom & Party Dresses are currently 25% off! (w/code DRESS16).
I don’t know why but when I think about prom, it gives me a little anxiety – as a high school aged girl, I thought the whole process of shopping for a dress was overwhelming. Looking back, I think I was over thinking the whole ordeal. If I could go back and change anything, I would have strayed from the typical prom dress path (think class beaded prom dresses!) and gone with something more untraditional. I noticed a few dresses that are part of this SAKS Prom promotion that I think would be perfect – and so class for prom. Maybe one with sleeves, or one without sequins (!!!!!) or even something more simple, and not so busy (I’m linking some gorgeous dresses in the tool below that fit these descriptions!) Unfortunately I am from a very small town in Arkansas so we didn’t have a mall and I didn’t order online much back then (10 years ago- boy things have changed!). Things are different now though since shopping online has become so easy. I actually ordered this dress online – I saw the sizing reviews, ordered the size 4 and it fit pretty perfectly. With SAKS, you are able to order more than one and return the other with no problem which is also nice.
AND! If you are not prom age – keep in mind these dresses are also good for any kind of special event you may have coming up. (or as bridesmaids gowns!)

I really cannot get over how AMAZING this dress is on you!! I mean you look incredible!! My prom dress was really simple and a sky blue color. It was pretty though. Shopping for a wedding dress was way more overwhelming for me though. Anyway, love this dress and I love Saks too. I also hope that you are having a lot of fun in the sun so far today!! 🙂
