Las Vegas Weekend in Review

I wanted to share a quick review of our quick weekend trip to Vegas because I’ve been getting questions regarding where we ate, stayed, etc. John and I had never been to Las Vegas before – it was a very spur of the moment trip. (welcome to residency) We literally booked flights just a few day before we went and I honestly… don’t judge me but I selected our hotel based on what was nearest to shopping! In fact, our hotel had shopping built into it!

We stayed at the Bellagio – pretty much because the Chanel, Prada, Fendi, LV, etc. are at the bottom floor of it! The Bellagio is the one with the fountains out front! The fountain shows are super cool and happen all day and night every 30? or so minutes (I’ll ask John to clarify on that). Across from the Bellagio is the Eiffel Tower place – many of the images you see on my blog were taken right outside of the Bellagio. We were primarily there for work so we didn’t do anything too exciting except for eat, shop, & just walk around!

The Bellagio has TONS of restaurants inside of it – one place is called Snacks? I think.. its next to the casino area and you order your ‘snacks’ on a computer! They have pizza slices, buffalo wings, every snack you can think of and I believe it is open super late night if not all day? Also, there’s an amazing crepe place downstairs of the Bellagio that has yummy crepes and fresh fruit – the line to that place (Jean Phillipe Patisserie) is ALWAYS long! Just a warning.

You can pretty much go for the weekend and never leave the Bellagio! BUT, you should definitely leave. Next door is Caesar’s Palace and all of the places are so close they may as well be connected! There’s a shuttle that goes down and back all day so you can go to the other hotels — we went next door to the Monte Carlo to visit the popular coffee shop, Sambalatte. That’s where I got my rainbow latte art!! Also, make sure you go to Serendipity for lunch!

Also! The Fashion Place mall is only a couple of miles away (right behind the Trump tower) and it has tons of stores – like F21, Nordstrom, etc.

Anyway, just wanted to share and answer some of the questions. It’s very hot there FYI – but dry so your hair will stayed curled!! 🙂

*Outfit from the Latte art is here. MY tunic was untucked! (the tunic is full stocked HERE – I wore XS)
