Remember last week when I mentioned that having a black North Face vest was considered a classic item to have in your closet? Well, another item I think is a classic (splurge) staple is a Burberry scarf or trench. I haven’t yet splurged on a Burberry Trench but almost every winter I come close! However, I did splurge on this scarf at Nordstrom last week. The print is classic and can be worn with a variety of colors. You could wearing all black and throw this scarf on top and instantly look chic! I told John it kind of had Razorback and Buckeye colors in so I can wear it to games, lol! 😉 Nordstrom has a good collection of Burberry scarves and I’m linking my favorites in the tool at the bottom.

There was one day in Aspen that we woke up to a snow covered ground – and it was so fun! The rest of the day remained very cold so I actually went and purchased this coat. I have it in a couple of color and have always wanted it in a neutral color that will match everything!

Thanks to Nordstrom for sponsoring today’s post.

  1. That coat is gorgeous! And so is the scarf! And Burberry trenchcoats are definitely worth the splurge. My mum has one that she bought years ago and it's still as beautiful as it was on the first day she wore it. The quality is amazing.

  2. Absolutely gorgeous photos! You look so cozy & it does look chilly there, but those layers definitely look warm! I think a high quality Burberry scarf is undoubtedly a must have if you live in a cold climate, that's for sure!

  3. I love that scarf, girlie! You're so right, since the iconic pattern features mainly neutrals, it can go so well with an array of colors and outfits! I'm also loving that coat, too. I've been having my eye on a few J.Crew coats recently, it's been so hard to narrow down which one I want, since they're are SO many to choose from! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you're having a great week so far!
