First things first – Bloomingdales is currently running their Friends & Family Sale, 25% off w/code FRIENDS. Many pieces of this look are part of the sale – including the shoes which were already marked down! Bloomingdales is a favorite of mine, mainly because they’ve  got everything from jewelry to women’s clothing to men’s clothing to makeup! I like any type of store that simplifies shopping. 🙂 Sidenote, my turtleneck sweater is one I ordered from Bloomingdales & I am obsessed. Bloomingdales has a 100% Bloomingdales Exclusivity section which is so cool because you can find pieces you won’t see all over the internet. Anyway, the sleeveless turtleneck was perfect for mid-day over the weekend. The weather was chilly in the mornings but warm during the day so I opted for the sleeveless turtleneck. BUT, I have my eye on THIS sweater.. I have it blue already and it’s so soft I wouldn’t mind a second color.

In other news, I had the best weekend ever! I got most of what I wanted for my birthday (see that post here). John took me to see Girl on the Train Saturday night… it was okay. I definitely prefer the book – what did you think??? And Sunday we met my family in Fort Smith, AR and had a family lunch at Olive Garden! So yea, best birthday ever.

Thanks to Bloomingdales for sponsoring todays post.

  1. I'm happy that you had a great birthday weekend! I need to read the Girl on the Train. I have it on my kindle along with a huge list of other books that I haven't read yet! Anyway, I love your outfit, especially your turtleneck!

  2. I absolutely love this outfit on you! The booties are gorgeous & that shade of green is divine on you! I saw Girl on The Train last weekend too. I admittedly haven't read the book but I thought it jumped around, timeline-wise a little too much! It wasn't bad but I think I'll enjoy reading the book more.
