Yesterday when we arrived in Paris, it was dark and gloomy – and a chilly 30 degrees out! We bundled up and headed outside and it was already a little dark (at 4pm). John studied abroad so he’s been here before- and I’ve been twice, but this is our first time together. It is really fun to be here with John – he is a history guy and so he’s full of fun information. It’s just special to be in such a romantic city with him. (Also doesn’t hurt that he has been using Duo-lingo to learn French the past 2 weeks!)

Today we are heading out to explore and then meeting our friend Laura for a dinner at an Italian place.

Really quickly, I’ve been wearing these booties from Nordstrom a lot this fall. They are a fave of mine because I love that the toe is pointy. I’ll probably be wearing them a ton on this trip because they go with a lot and I don’t mind wearing them in the rain! Nordstrom’s got a TON of cute booties right now though – I will link some of my favorites below!

Thanks to Nordstrom for sponsoring today’s post.

  2. Hi! I'm loving your blog. I am a skincare consultant and would love to send you some products to try (since you mentioned acne scaring). Feel free to email me if you'd like more info. I also launched a brand new product for brows and lashes that is amazing. viggianoa@icloud.com xo ~Alison
