LBDs are a secret weapon for your wardrobe. They are essential in my opinion! They are the perfect back-up plan, no fail, effortless, holy grail staple for your closet!

Ever since before being pregnant w/Luke, I have always been a black dress lover. I think they are ideal for looking slimmer, keeping it classy, and keeping it simple. I get asked what are closet staples / basics SO often and these are always the first thing on my mind! If you have a special event coming up, you can easily dress up a little black dress. If you have a meeting, lunch plans, first date, concert, etc. the little black dress is perfect.

While pregnant, I was wearing them so much just for the ‘slimming’ (lol!) effect. But now I wear them because it’s so easy to throw on and go and look like I tried, when in all reality it only took a minute to get ready!

If I’m out and about with Luke, I usually just slide on some sandals or comfy wedges & a hat. But if I am going to meet John for lunch, I add jewelry and wear wedges to dress it up a little! Also, you’ll see that I always tie jackets around my waist to give it a different look or in case it is cold!

From left to right the dresses are linked: FIRST | SECOND | THIRD | FOURTH | FIFTH

I have most of the dresses above – and I tried to go back and find photos on my phone of them so I could give you an idea of how they look on me. I love them all – I am taller so I am happy with the length! I wear a small in most all Leith brands but the dress I am wearing below while pregnant is a medium and it still fits now w/o the 30w bump!

FIRST DRESS: The first dress I don’t actually own, but if you scroll to the bottom of this post you’ll see a wore a dress similar to this in Orlando in March. The night I posted this dress on IG it sold out and I have heard SO many of you rave about it – I was thrilled when a similar option came out! This dress is great on it’s own since the little knot makes a statement! Wear this one w/heels, booties, wedges, cute sandals – whatever! Throw on same bangles and lipstick and that will really amp it up.

SECOND DRESS: Part of me says “this is my favorite!” but it isn’t – it is a close to being my #1 favorite though. I love a racer back, midi length dress. They look amazing w/longer cardigans. I wore this outfit (seen below) to Arizona and got TONS of compliments. In all reality it was super comfy and kept me warm while getting my hair done!

THIRD DRESS: This long sleeved, rusched body con dress is one I don’t actually own. I have #5 that is sleeveless though! I wore it while pregnant w/Luke towards the end a lot – and still wear it now. It’s comfortable and soft and great for going out and about and not being worried about it being too short or inappropriate, ya know? I like this option for fall or if you live in Cali and want to have sleeves for night time or morning!

FOURTH DRESS: This one is DEF my favorite! It’s lightweight, thin, racer backed, loose, etc. – and I want it in ALL colors! It’s also on sale 40% off today! I wear it SOO much – I literally wash it like 3x a week bc it’s my favorite thing to wear! You’ll see it styled in a few photos below! It’s so stinking comfortable yet I always get compliments on it! This is a must – no matter your age, style, etc – I think everyone would love this! I am wearing the size small. || On sale HERE (thicker fabric- not see through), HERE, & HERE.

FIFTH DRESS: This is the one I mentioned in #3 – I have the tank version because it gets so hot where I live! You’ll see it styled below in a couple of photos. I am wearing a medium in this bc I purchased while in my third trimester but I like the medium fit still!
