Over the past three years I’ve posted quite a bit on my blog about vitamins/supplements and how I depend on them so much. I think what really got me into them was pregnancy honestly. Between deficiencies found via the blood work done while pregnant + my skin going crazy while pregnant with Luke, my interest in supplements grew. Bigger picture though, my dad has taken a vitamin pack every morning my entire life. He’s a health nut and stays studying up on the topic. Something we have in common is that we are super into a morning routine & we do not like to veer from it [what is the word I need here?!?!]. His is intense though! He gets up at 4:45 every weekday morning and drinks a black coffee before going to his gym to do Insanity or P90X. 😩 Now for me personally, I feel much better getting up early- however, 4:45AM is too early for me! [My dad goes to bed at 8PM.] I have two littles who wake up between 6:30-7AM so that is usually my wakeup call. John goes to work at 6AM so I typically am already partly awake before Luke & Sophia. Anyway, back on track, my morning routine starts off with my ACV drink that I do every morning! I like for that to be the first thing that hits my stomach & I have a full blog post covering how I drink it if you are curious. Prior to drinking it however, I set out all of my vitamins/supplements and fill my water cup. I’m super super SUPERRR into drinking a lot of water & I like to start the day with as much as I can + it helps get rid of the ACV taste. 🤢 I take a variety of vitamins but if you followed me during my pregnancy with Sophia, you probably read about how HUM’s Glow Sweet Glow Skin Hydration Gummies (Hyaluronic Acid!) were a lifeline for my skin. My skin was so dry with both babies but with Sophia I randomly discovered & then blogged about their Hydration Gummies. I’ve written a lot about my love for HA over the years & its not slowed at all. The HUM Nutrition HA gummies took my skin from parched to glowy. [I’ll do another post about Hyaluronic Acid favorites that another day!]

HUM DAILY CLEANSE

Well, today, I wanted to talk more about the HUMDaily Cleansesupplement. They actually gifted me 3 bottles and I was anxious to try because these are made to clear your skin & body from toxins. I’d read about Chlorella & Spirulina prior to being introduced to these supplements & already had an interest in trying something with green algae. I’d done a bit of research on the benefits of green algae, more specifically Chlorella & Spirulina, & knew that they were powerful in detoxification – not only for your skin, but also for your liver, kidneys, lungs, bowel, & lymphatic system. Your skin is your largest organ however & many skincare/beauty lovers are always looking for clearer, better skin. This supplement helps to get rid of the toxins that can cause breakouts PLUS it has skin healing minerals. Additionally, it aids in digestion [since it helps to detoxify!].

This is probably getting a little long – but I’ve become a big fan of this specific supplement. I will say, you do need to take these for at least SIX weeks!! That is a huge deal! I’ve written in many of my skincare posts that you absolutely HAVE to be consistent and stick to something for 4-6 weeks to see the change. These are not a quick fix, like makeup, where you can see a change overnight. You really have to take 2 daily [I choose mornings] and stick to that. Also, you do not have to take these with food.

Anyway, so the Daily Cleanse is an amazing option if you are looking for clearer skin & a full body detox. The Chlorella & Spirulina do so much more than just detoxification by the way – they have B12 and other vitamins that help as well! All of the HUM Nutrition supplements are available at Sephora, just FYI. I love that because you can use them and get your Sephora VIB points! I’ve written on here before that the VIB Reward Program at Sephora is like my JAM. I love trying the 100 point products [sample sized] and also on Tuesdays & Thursdays I use my Reward points to get $25 gift cards! Just something to think about if you are a Sephora shopper, too!

OKAY! The rest of my morning routine is pretty simple. I finish my water & then I have coffee. We have a Keurig so I usually make 1-2 cups each morning while I cook breakfast for the kiddos and start working. I do love breakfast by the way! I didn’t growing up but I can not skip it anymore! I love Fiber One bars or I scramble egg whites & turkey sausage! The kids love scrambled eggs so is something I do pretty regularly.

Other products from HUM products available at Sephora:

Hair Sweet Hair Growth Gummies

Glow Sweet Glow Skin Hydration Gummies [Hyaluronic Acid]

Flatter Me Digestive Enzyme Supplement

Mighty Night Overnight Renewal Supplement

Collagen POP + Vitamin C Dissolvable Tablets

Thanks to Sephora for sponsoring today’s post.
