New Blog Design Reveal! See What’s New…

HELLOOOO! AHH!🎉 And welcome to my freshly updated blog space! I’m so excited to finally go live with this new blog design! My team and I have been working on giving the blog a little ‘face lift’ since February. It’s been a long, long journey. I am so relieved to be completing the project because I am so excited about the new look as well as implementing new features. The site itself should be super, super user friendly and also even more organized. Also, my blog had not had a makeover in 3.5 years so my bio said nothing about Luke or Sophia – that had to change, LOL!

MY NEW BLOG DESIGN

Not only have we updated my bio & FAQ, but we have simplified this space so that you can easily navigate it and find exactly what you are looking for – yay!

One of the top things I have to point out is that we decided to add a ‘SHOP’ tool [upper right corner on desktop and in the menu on mobile!] This section of my blog is more or less to be like a personal shopper for you! I will be keeping it updated so that you can see what I’ve ordered, what I have my eye on, and things I am recommending – from retailers ALL over the internet! If you click over there, you will see we already have an ‘NSALE’ category in place, amongst the usual categories. You can click the category and narrow down your search with women’s fashion, women’s shoes, kids, beauty, etc. The sale has not even started but I went ahead and created this so that you can see all of the items I have my eye on – that way when you are free to shop you can go straight there and click the items and add to cart. I feel like shopping can be overwhelming so I try to stay on top of what is new and what will sell out so that my readers can get access the most quickly.  [We are implementing something else into this section to help with your shopping needs but it is not quite ready – should be up soon!]

Also, we’ve got all details and answers for the questions I receive answered here on my blog – in one place! The menu you see above is a way to narrow down your search. You can click ‘HOME’ and find all thing home related – whether it be where my bed is from or information on building a custom home – it is all there! The beauty category is all encompassing but if you want to really specify anything – you can choose skincare, makeup, or hair and really narrow down your search. As always, the search tool is amazing – and you can search any keyword and find relevant information. We’ve changed it to be chronological so that you can easily find say.. my most recent Sephora Haul or makeup routine.

WANT TO GET A HEAD START ON SHOPPING THINGS I AM SHOPPING?!

You’ll notice at the bottom of my blog is a ‘NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTION’ – make sure you are signed up but I send e-mails to loyal readers so that you all get first access to products. ✨The last few months we have noticed a major uptick in things selling out– in a matter of minutes / hours. Due to this, I get a lot of readers asking if there is a way to get a headstart on shopping my picks. Thus, we developed the weekly subscriber only e-mail. This week we are sending out an e-mail with all details on the patio outside of my closet/office! Once you are subscribed – you will get a confirmation e-mail. I recommend adding me as a contact so that you do not miss the e-mails. Additionally, if you are not subscribed, you will not receive the e-mail. More than 90% of the items in the e-mail sell out before I publish to my blog. Just a couple of weeks ago we sent out an e-mail with how I used affordable items from Amazon to style my closet/office and you all wiped those items out quickly.

Thank you all so much for the love and support over the years. I am doing everything I can to have all information here on this blog so that you can access whatever you need at any time of day. I know I have a lot of nursing mamas who read my blog in the middle of the night while nursing, I have readers in other countries on different time zones, and lots of you who just have wild schedules and don’t get much free time. With that being said, it was important to me to keep everything organized and easily accessible. I will say, I know there will be a few bugs here and there [my mom found one last night!] so we are still working on those! Feel free to email me if you run in to any.
