The Most Flattering Dress + Wedding Guest Dress Idea

DRESS: Parker (wearing size small + linking tons of similar options below) | PUMPS: Christian Louboutin (dupes here) | SUNGLASSES: Quay | HANDBAG: Chanel (similar styles here & here) | LIPS: ‘Redd‘ + ‘Heat Wave‘ | WATCH: Michele | EARRINGS: Vintage Chanel (linking more options below, I do love these!) | RING: David Yurman

I mentioned that I attended a wedding in Nashville over the weekend & it was a gorgeous wedding – every detail was perfect. The bride herself was stunning! The reception was at the Country Music Hall of Fame and it was seriously to-die-for… (all the heart eye emojis!). The wedding was considered ‘formal’ but the bride informed me that some people were wearing full length gowns and some were doing cocktail… I decided to merge the two. I didn’t want to risk being underdressed or being over the top. I am SO glad I went with this dress because no only was it flattering, but the color was striking and the length so classy. I was too busy to shoot this in Nashville so yesterday I shot it w/John and he goes “woah that dress looks so good on you!” – probably because the way it is cut, it slims down the hips big time!

If you have any showers, weddings, parties, etc. come up the next 2 months – I recommend trying a red dress! A couple of other girls at the wedding wore red and all of the girls look gorgeous and really caught my eye.

I’m linking a ton of fun dress options similar to mine below!! My dress is available on a few sites so all sizes are in stock – I linked all of the different sites below. *And it comes in white. 🙂

Sidenote – did anyone make yesterday’s recipe just yet? AND I’d love to get some fun recipe ideas for the 4th that incorporate red, white, & blue!! Leave me a comment w/an idea!

  1. Beautiful dress! I always love 4th of July cake…. store bought pound cake, cool whip, strawberries and blueberries. You could also make this into a trifle!
