MAKEUP FAVES
Yesterday while getting ready, I told John we should film a quick iPhone video of how I curl my hair that I can add onto my Insta-story or Snapchat… and oh boy! I am reminded why I don’t do YouTube / why I have the utmost respect for YouTubers! It is SO hard and I feel like I act so awkward – even on an iPhone video. Did not go over so well – maybe I will add it on my social media just for fun. I have been asked more & more lately [esp after last weeks hair post] what curling iron, heat spray, & hairspray I love so I thought a full round up is in order + a few action shots w/my recent favorite items! [Ps. You can totally see John take pix in a couple of these shots, lol!]
HAIR PRODUCTS
Really quickly: I use THIS curling iron (1”), THIS heat spray, THIS hair spray (smells amazing!), & this is one of my favorite dry shampoos ( I have like 5 I love – this one just smells good!). Oh & I love this brush!
If I were going to buy the curling iron, I’d get THIS set bc it comes w/ curling iron barrels and not just wands. However, I have a post HERE on how my hair looks w/the wands!

LIP PRODUCTS
As far as new products go, I have a few new lip products. The one you’ve seen me where on here a ton is the new matte lip color by Dior but I also got all of the YSL matte lip colors in PR and I am sooooo obsessed. They are not drying at all – they don’t crack – they feel super light – almost like they are not there & they are more watery — than most lip stains. I also love the color variation. My favorite shades are 5, 7, 11, & 23. (I have not tried the brighter shades yet but I will!)
EASY CONTOURING / HIGHLIGHTING PRODUCTS
I love Charlotte Tilbury’s new liquid contouring & highlighting products soo much. I use them often but I notice they are best when you are in a hurry, don’t need much makeup – yet want to still appear like you’ve tried. Quickly adding this over your foundation gives a natural glow. If I had better skin – I’d use this products alone!
MISC. MAKEUP FAVES.
You all know my latest foundation favorite that I’ve sworn by the past 3 months is THIS one. I still love it & would recommend it but I have been using THIS powder on top of it. When I was in Tampa for Jaclyn’s Halloween party several of them were talking ab this powder and said it is so good and to splurge and try it. I broke down and ordered it after I got home and I love it! I I think it’s really good if you need a quick powder only coverage but if you want full coverage & your make-up locked down, this is so good! I use it when I am going to be having a long day and need my makeup covering & not moving.
I’ve mentioned a few times that I love THIS bronzer lately but I have also been switching it out for THIS one – I was at Nordstrom and a few employees told me that is one of the best bronzers! The price point is a little much and I can’t say it’s ‘worth the money’ just yet – but I really love the color & the look it leaves on my skin! It’s got shimmer to it – which I usually avoid at all costs – but oh my gosh, it is really beautiful and leaves this natural, luminous glow. I have a really tough time w/bronzers – I don’t want to be muddy but I don’t want to be orange… I don’t want shimmer but I do like the glowy, bronzy warm look… you know what I’m saying?! These to are a couple of my new favorites at the moment. If you go through my Beauty/Makeup tab history you’ll see others that I also love!
