A Winter Closet Staple You MUST Have In Your Closet (Under $50)

I wore this turtleneck sweater flying home from Ohio over Thanksgiving and had SO many of you ask about it so I thought I’d shoot a full look wearing it. I actually wear it quite a bit because it is super soft & comfortable – not itchy in the least. I got it in a medium so that it had that slouchy, cozy, oversized look/fit instead of being fitted/short. I had a few people ask about my sizing since it looks way different on the model but  sizing up totally changes the look! Personally, I prefer oversized fit items, but now that I am a mom I do not love anything that is cropped or too tight since I spend a lot of time on the floor with Luke while he crawls! Anyway, just wanted to cover the sizing & explain the fit so that you have an idea of what to expect from this. It’s from Nordstrom & a lot of us don’t have one nearby so I wanted to give you the low-down before you order.

Moving on, I got this Gucci bag from Nordstrom while in Seattle in September. I know it is a rather large bag.. and who are we kidding?! I love love loveeeee a big bag. You guys know! I purchased my first Gucci Marmont bag before they were super popular while in Paris last year & I carried that bag a TON! It was the medium size & a crossbody & I still carry it often. However, since having Luke, I am responsible for carrying around so much more than I was before! I already adore the look of the Marmont so I was thrilled to see that they created it in larger styles. I typically carry my Neverfull GMs when we go places and I don’t want a purse & a diaper bag but this larger version is great for my lifestyle. I am able to fit my laptop, Luke’s necessities, & my necessities and be good to go! Also, if you are not wanting to splurge on a Gucci bag, but you love the look – check out THIS bag from Rebecca Minkoff! It is SO SO cute – it reminds me of a Chanel Boy Bag/Gucci Marmont together. It is $325, which I know is not cheap, but it is really beautiful & her bags are wonderful quality. PS. I have also had my eyes on this little camera bag!
