Los Angeles has been surprisingly warm! When we left Tulsa it was 9 degrees and I knew California was getting cooler temps, so I didn’t pack any open toed shoes or spring/summer tops. Instead, I packed light sweaters and long sleeve tees! The first two days we were here it was SO warm that we decided to go to the mall and get more summer appropriate clothing. 🙂 I went straight to Express because I’d seen some things online I had planned on ordering – and I ended up getting this lavender off the shoulder top & the girlfriend jeans I am wearing in the photos. Annnnd a few other lavender pieces (including this sweater) because I am totally on that pastel kick!

I also found some some really cute shoes that are a total designer dupe (here). I love the color and the price tag! I don’t have much room in my suitcase so I didn’t get a ton of things but I did just place an order for these jeans [I’d been withing they’d make this dark wash!]  & this bright red asymmetrical one shoulder top for Valentines!

Express is giving my readers a chance to get $25 off their purchased [in-store only!] when they spend $100. Use the code 3004. Terms & Conditions are HERE in case you run into any issues.

Okay, so sorry for getting behind on blogging last week – the time change was so tough this time around! Hope you all are having a great weekend..xo.

Thanks to Express for sponsoring todays post.

    1. Hi Emilee! Thank you! I actually have a beauty tab up top of my blog (or under the Menu) and it has all of my beauty posts where I share my makeup updates – what I love and what I am wearing!

  2. I am lovinggg this pastel kick! Wearing pastels is one of my favorite parts of it getting warmer weather, which i am dying for down here in Georgia! You have gorgeous tan skin, but what types of pastels would you recommend for very fair skin?
    Loving your posts as usual!!

    1. Hey Katherine! Thank you. I think you’d look lovely in pastels! My mom and sister are more fair and look so good in light pinks, purple, & baby blue! I think it may just take some getting used to!:)
