Yesterday was a long, very tiring day of travel. We left Tulsa noon and had a 4 hour layover in Atlanta – only to get on a plane and fly back over Tulsa! We had a nearly 5 hour flight which was Luke’s longest flight so far. He didn’t nap ALL day but was very tired so he finally took a 2 hour nap on that long flight. We were just relieved he got that nap in because he needs his nap[s]. His first year of travel was easy enough but since then he has become so mobile that its a lot more work and can be tiring – but also very fun. He interacts with everyone and makes friends in the airport and on planes and it is really sweet. Luke loves to high five everyone, show them where his nose is, how old he is – and then do hand motions to Itsy-Bitsy Spider and see if they know the song! 🙂

Any who, I really wanted to post this travel look because I had so many people inquire about our new stroller. It’s a long story so I will just get started. First of all, we have 4 strollers total. A Nuna [we usually travel w/it], a Quinny [sometimes travel w/ but usually leave it in my car and I use it often], a Stokke, and a Yo-Yo. If you are familiar w/strollers, you may know about Yo-Yo strollers, if not, they are amazing for travel or city life. The brand reached out and sent us one before Luke arrived and it came w/a bassinet. It’s very, very small and is ideal for travel or any kind of on the go situation/small area. Before going to Disney we realized we didn’t know how to convert the bassinet into a seat for Luke so we just took our Nuna since it was all so last minute. Well, just recently I told John we needed to get it figured out so that we can travel w/it since it is SO small and folds right up easily and neatly and I started googling to find the piece we needed to change it into a seat for Luke. As I was searching, I found the stroller above ^ and ended up ordering. It was around $220 bucks and the attachment for the Yo-Yo was $75. I ended up just ordering this new stroller instead and I am really happy with it! My friend Jean [Extra Petite] is expecting a baby girl soon and lives in Boston and has to go up like 3-4 flights of stairs to get to her place so I ended up taking the Yo-Yo to Boston because I knew they’d get more use out of it – especially w/the bassinet piece. They also do quite a bit of traveling and I just knew they’d be using it much more than we would.

Overall, the Yo-Yo is more of a quality piece – as in ‘you get what you pay for’, ya know? It’s 3x the price of our new one, but it has a bit of a sturdier feel. However, I am SO happy I got this little Babysing stroller. It is super lightweight, I love the look of it – w/the white base and tan leather detailing, and it is crazy user friendly and simple. Luke likes strollers that have the piece that go over his legs because he loves to prop his legs up on it, lol! I posted an IG story of it yesterday. It has a good cover for his head and it is not cheap feeling like some travel strollers – it is more comfy so I know he feels okay and not ‘squashed’ ya know?!

Anywho, I’ve done several posts all ab topics like travel fashion, travel tips, strollers, etc. and I file them all away HERE in case you want to see more info!

  4. Wow, I cannot believe the price of that stroller. I am seriously considering ordering it for my daughter who is just a couple of months older than Luke. One question: how much does the seat sit up? A problem we are having with our current stroller is she wants to sit all the way up now that she’s older and more curious. Does this one go up enough that she would be able to sit up and see everything going on?
