AT-HOME EASY HALLOWEEN PARTY

Hi!! Hope you are having a fun weekend! Popping in with a random little Sunday post!

This weekend we had a crew at the house! My brother’s daughters [Caroline & Olivia] had a basketball tournament here in Tulsa so he & the girls [my 3 yo niece, Lola, too!] came to stay. My parents were also here – my dad is helping me take care of some campaigns because John is working! Anyway, I thought I’d share a little Halloween decor inspo in case you all are planning an easy halloween party this year.

I ran to Walmart before my brother got to town and grabbed some food & a few spooky things to decorate!! I’ll link everything below but it was all purchased from Walmart. [See this post to see where some of the other products are linked like the halloween bowls/trays/etc!]

The weather here has been incredibly nice this week, anyone else?!?! We have been outside the last two hours the sun is out each day & it’s the perfect weather. Luke is loving Halloween – all things ghosts, pumpkins, witches, etc. He told me that he wants Sophia to be a pumpkin and he wants to be a ghost! He also saw Spiderman at an event we had at church and he calls him “Spi-er -man” so I got him a Spiderman costume in 2T and…it was snug!🙈 He would not wear the mask! We got Sophia a Wonder Woman costume and OMG!! It was 6mo [shes 5mo] and it was WAY too tight! We were dying! She didn’t have it on too long, lol. OH! Also, since Luke was wearing his Spiderman costume, John got a bag of that spiderweb stuff and initially it looked like a mess but it ended up being really cute! So if you want to get festive & spooky get a few bags and drape it over things! One more thing – I ordered 6 of THESE string lights in copper and I wrapped them around the broom outside and put them over the mums & wreaths so that at night it looks even more magical! I will also use the for Christmas as well. [Fun fact: I wanted to have them before my brother got into town so I ordered them on my phone for pick-up and paid online. Well I had no idea they had this but it said to look for the big orange tower when you enter the store. Sure enough right where I walked in I saw the tower and it is just a computer and you scan your e-mail and within seconds your bag comes down! I thought that was pretty cool – especially since I have babies and am always in a hurry!]

I found those little pumpkin ice trays at Walmart and showed Luke how it worked and he LOVED them. He did not want to use them for drinks but he liked popping them out of the tray and licking them!! Boys!

What are you all doing for Halloween!!?!? I need costume ideas os leave some comments and also let me now what you are dressing as! I love this costume from Hocus Pocus! It’s the Salem Sister with the red hair!

Witch Shoes / Hat Picks

3D Wall Bat Decor [Mine are birds!]

Striped Paper Straws

My cat ear headband came in a PR package with a really good black eye liner!

Kit-Kat / Reece’s Bag Mix

Just FYI – if Sophia were big enough I’d for sure get her this pink sherpa! Walmart has a lot of good sherpa pullovers! The one I am wearing above is my moms – she got it in the juniors section of Walmart in a large and it is crazy soft- it was $10! And while I am talking about it – I ordered Luke 2 of these pullovers since they are $11.
