Random Things 💕 That Keep Me Happy At Home

Okay, I know this is super random – just based on the images alone, lol! It’s like outfit shot and then a shot of my bedroom! 😊 But I promise there’s a point! I’m a major homebody as you all know but this quarantine situation definitely how shown me that I don’t mind leaving the house, lol!! Luckily, there are a few *things*  I thought I’d share that make me ‘happy at home’ and some of them are items I ordered from Nordstrom or purchased while in Dallas at Nordstrom before the ‘quarantine’ began. Sidenote, I am putting asterisks around ‘things’ because the people and pup I am quarantined with are what make this bearable! These babies of mine bring pure joy every day – but I am also very worn out at the end of the work day since I toggle between entrepreneur to mama to housekeeper ALL of the day long!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY

#1 BAREFOOT DREAMS BLANKETS || This is old news but we have 3 of the large ones and 3 baby ones in this house and basically everyone except Sophia wants the large ones! LOL. I keep two on my bed at all times because Luke gets in bed with me and he wants his own and I legit can’t sleep without one of these over my shoulders. They are ‘dreamy’. 😍 [See all home details HERE.]

 #2 CANDLES || I won’t even tell you all how many candles I’ve ordered the last 6 weeks while at home. 😩 It is embarrassing but there is something about them that gives a cozy, homey feel and also just makes our home smell incredible. My favorite is THIS one – I loved the Tobacco sent and stocked up on these. I also love that they have the glass lid – they also serve as beautiful decor! My all time favorite candle EVER is THIS one in ‘Jasmine’ – no joke – one of the best candles hands down!

#3 LOUNGEWEAR BRAS || This is so random but I purchased a few ‘loungewear’ style bras right as quarantine got going… mainly because we’d cancelled all of our travel plans for March & April and I knew I would not be relying on a sticky-bra or any time of wire bra. SO, I got THIS one which is my FAVORITE OF ALL. OH EM GEE. [It also comes in PINK] This brand makes my favorite leggings and I just tried it on a whim and then had to order more. The second I wear a lot is THIS one – I just think its cute! Both go well under everyday tops and t-shirts! I’m wearing the Commando one in the photos below.

#4 SEE BY CHLOE WEDGES || I usually splurge on a pair of high end shoes every spring and I opted for THIS pair of wedges and OMG I am in love. They make your legs crazy long and super leggy. They go with everything, too!

#5 BODYWASH / SCRUB / LOTION || Totally random but the brand Necessaire sent me this in PR and I’ve used it DAILY. The body wash smells insane! And the scrub is a very good scrub – esp if you spray tan.

#6 FITNESS APPAREL || We have survived each day that John is home by going on a loonngggg walk! I wear THIS tank and THESE shorts almost every time and I get a lot of questions about the top anytime I wear it. It has a built in bra and it is amazing. [See this outfit on me HERE.]

#7 BIKER SHORTS || I have worn bikers shorts a LARGE part of this down time. I have a $15 pair and a more luxe pair by Spanx. I love both! I tend to opt for the Spanx simply because they suck you in and I need that right now! I wear them with oversized tees a lot – see post HERE.
