LG StanbyME Rollable Smart Touch Screen Review
You guys!! Today is THE day that we finally talk about this amazing “screen” that hundreds of you have inquired about via DMs on Instagram stories. Back in April I was showing you all a blog post on this screen via Instagram Stories & everyone kept asking “WHAT IS THAT!!” and at the time it was sold out – and kept selling out so often that I held off on posting! In fact, I decided to wait until it was in stock to post and here we are in November & I no longer have pink flowers in my kitchen!😅 ANYWHO! This is the StanbyME Rollable Smart Touch Screen by the brand LG & our entire family is OBSESSED. It is a large [27″] touch screen that has apps pre-loaded like Disney, Netflix, YouTube, etc. and also has a browser built in so that you can go to websites & have it nice and LARGE. It ROLLS around so it’s crazy easier to take it from the kitchen [using it to follow a recipe] & then roll to my bathroom where I can watch Netflix while I take a hot bath! It has a remote & the battery lasts up to 3 hours. Luke & Sophia enjoy watching movies on it in the living room on a palette which is cute… while John uses it to watch sports when we are outside playing [& John just “HAS” to be tuned in, ya know!😉] Personally, one thing that I most useful for is work… e.g. I will share my laptop screen to the StanbyME & walk my team through how to do something that way everyone can easily follow along and see it well.
Being fully transparent, this WAS gifted to my family and I can 110% say that if this was NOT gifted, I would have purchased it with my own money. I can not tell you how many times we have had friends and family over – and they leave my house asking for a notice when it’s in stock bc they want it, too! I felt like a kid at show & tell anytime someone inquired about – it is that cool!
Also, I should note that the speaker we have at the base of the StanbyME is also by LG [also generously gifted to us]. It is called the LG XBoom 360 Bluetooth Speaker & totally enhances the sound of whatever you may be watching. It has patented 360 sound technology which allows the sound to disperse evenly and equally in every direction. I had to look this up because I couldn’t believe how realistic and crisp the audio is with this speaker! Also it has a cool setting for special lighting as well. It has 9 lighting presets so you can actually match your mood/vibe depending on whatever you are watching or listening to – so cool! OH! One thing I can not leave out is that this has up to a 24HR battery life. That is very important to me because we love a long battery life around this house!
I realize I am rambling but this is just a piece of technology that my entire family has fallen in love with and fights over – lol! It is functional, cool, & so convenient to all ages. I feel so bad that I waited so long to post but it would be a nice Christmas gift!😃
