Greetings from Arkansas!
We made it, finally. Right now, I am updating from Hot Springs, AR – we are on a little trip with my parents. The 13 hour trip from Bristol, VA to Clarksville, AR was not so bad, we could not have done it without my dad, however. I’m grateful he was here to help us for many reasons, but one of those is that John was able to learn from him. My dad becomes an expert on anything he does it seems, but he is a genius on the logistics of moving/planning a move! They spent all of Friday loading up our 14 foot Uhaul. It was packed with not much room to spare. (I put all of the important stuff in my car. I.e. shoes, clothing, makeup, etc.) My dad insisted we wake up at 4am on Saturday morning and get on the road. That being said, John and I could barely even get to sleep Friday night so 4am came a little too soon. We were on the road by 5am and got to Clarksville at 6pm.
A few photos from the weekend…
Living room love <3
We slept on an air mattress Friday night. Lovely stuff. I am already missing that loft! I am so glad we lived there for our first year of marriage! It was perfect!
This is what 2 hours of sleep looks like… yikes. After 2 years and 2 states of living away, I am beyond excited to be back in the Natural State… or in John’s opinion, the ‘Construction’ State. (We got stuck in lots of traffic because of construction.)
Actually, both of us were running on 2 hours of sleep. Notice John’s stylin’ shirt!
This view got a little exhausting after 12 hours. At this point, I would be okay not to see a Uhaul truck ever again.
I posted this on Instagram last night, here are the links:

So do you guys already have a house/apartment in Arkansas? or are you staying with family?
So happy you're settled in. Your loft was adorable; I'm hoping to find something as cute when I move. Hope you have a blast redecorating and settling back in. Can't wait to see pics!
