Out & About…

Maxi Dress, Bella Ella Boutique c/o ||Shoes, Target || Mint/Pave Bracelet, Happy Wrist c/o || Sunglasses, Prada ‘Cat’s Eye’ in Lace ||Bag, LV Speedy 35 – Find a pre-loved here || Belt, my Mom’s from her high school days!

There’s just something about running around in a comfortable maxi dress! I love that this one has the look & feel of a t-shirt. Excuse my mid-sentence photo(no, that’s not a duck face or whatever that’s called!). John has told me before that I talk way too much and that typically when he snaps these, I am talking. Oops. Anyway, if you get a chance visit Bella Ella Boutique’s website – so many options to choose from, all of which are modest yet trendy!

On a WHOLE other note, I was given the opportunity to play around with some My RuMe products – that launched at select Targets on Sunday. I just got mine today but I am already a little obsessed. Totally customizable iPhone & iPad cases. Super cute wipes that are adhesive. And my favorite: the lucite tray! I loved that the one I was sent had my blog header on it!

A few Instagram shots (or just from my phone…)

1. I’ve had several people ask about one of my everyday bracelets. It was part of the fall collection for J. Crew and is now on the website. You can see the bracelet in the top left photo. You can find that bracelet here.

3. John surprised me with Hunter Boots for our first anniversary. I never really thought I needed rain boots until we lived in VA/TN and got so much rain and snow. Right before our anniversary he told me that he wanted to get me pink rainboots but he couldn’t find them online. Leave it to me to hunt a pair down! I also love these crimson pink ones!
4. Ditzy Anchor Dress via J. Crew (Found at Sample Sale for $20)
5. Delicious punch I made for a shower. Recipe courtesy of my John’s sister!
Recipe: Pour a liter of sprite into punch bowl. Next, pour a can of frozen pink lemonade and give it a stir. This lemonade gives it the pink color. The next part is important: raspberry sherbert. The sherbert floats & holds the fruit so make small scoops of sherbert and cover the whole punch bowl. (the idea is to make a layer of sherbert – doesn’t have to be done neatly though!) Finally, add sliced lemons, frozen raspberries, and frozen blueberries (or anything you’d like – just use frozen berries so that it helps keep it cold!)

Hope you are having a great week! Thank you for stopping by..
